How I keep your baby safe
Your newborn's safety and comfort are my number one priority. I have trained with some of the country's leading newborn photographers and advocates of safe practices during newborn photography. Here are some of the precautions taken during your session with me:

I am fully DBS checked, insured and have both safeguarding and paediatric first aid training

Babies are never left unattended, room is heated to a comfortable temperature and baby is monitored for signs of overheating especially when wrapped

Any positions that can reduce circulation or compromise airways are avoided

Composite images (editing two images together) are utilised to ensure baby is fully supported at all times

If baby shows any signs of discomfort going into any position we move on

Closed cup policy with hot drinks in the studio

Fabrics washed between each session and hand sanitiser used throughout session

Every newborn session is booked with a session fee to secure your date. Packages are flexible, with options for both digital images and printed products.

Standard session - 2-3 hour session, 10 edited digital images, with the option to add wall art or albums

Mini session - 1 hour in-studio, 5 digital images - perfect for simple, sweet portraits of just baby

Where is your studio located?
My studio is in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, with easy access from Chesham, The Chalfonts, Chorleywood, and surrounding areas.
When is the best time to book a newborn photoshoot?
I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant — ideally after your 20-week scan — to secure availability.
How soon after birth should the newborn photography session happen?
The ideal time is between 5–14 days after birth, when your baby is still sleepy and flexible for gentle posing. If your baby is older than this we can still get gorgeous images.
What if my baby is early or late?
I take on a limited number of sessions each month, which means I can adjust your booking if your baby arrives earlier or later than expected.
Can we include siblings or parents?
Yes, family members are welcome in full sessions — these images often become some of the most treasured.
How long is a newborn photoshoot?
Most sessions last 2–3 hours, with plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing.
How much does the newborn session cost?
Session fees start from £99, with packages designed to suit different needs and budgets.
How long after the session will I see my images?
You’ll return for your viewing appointment around 2–3 weeks after your session.
